What Safer Arun is for
SaferArun.org.uk is an independent information site about the Arun district of West Sussex. The domain previously had a stronger emphasis on promoting safety in the area. The refreshed site broadens that mission into a general guide while retaining practical safety information where it is genuinely useful — particularly around the coast.
The site is designed for residents, prospective visitors and anyone trying to understand the geography and character of Arun. It is not the website of Arun District Council, a tourism authority, the emergency services or any individual attraction.
Accuracy and changing information
Local information changes. Parking charges, opening times, beach restrictions, transport timetables, access arrangements and event details should always be confirmed with the responsible organisation before travel. Safety advice published by official bodies should take precedence over general summaries on this website.
